A New Way to Cook - Pressure Cooker Garlic Shanks

First step to most of the meals we share, pull out your meat to allow to rest at room temperature before cooking. My personal next step is gather the ingredients! You never have to worry about forgetting an item if they're readily available.

2lbs Beef Shanks

2 cups beef broth

3 garlic cloves (or your hearts desire)

2 tbsp Italian Seasoning

2 tsp(or so) of salt

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp pepper

1 tbsp oil (for searing)

Once the meat is sitting, feel free to season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Turn on your pressure cooker to SAUTE. Sear the outsides of each shank piece using the tablespoon of oil. Remove shanks from the base for the next step! Deglaze the pan using the beef broth, adding in the garlic as well. Switch the pressure cooker to ON. Place shanks back into the broth bath, cover and seal to cook for 35 minutes. Allow for 15 minutes of natural pressure release and that is how easy it is!

Delicious with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and lots more! Can you say yummy?!
